The ugly Christmas sweater is, whether you like it or not, an omnipresent highlight of Christmas. This meretricious garment, that we lovingly embrace as “ugly,” could not be completed without its comically large portrayals of an elf and the bell embellishments that jingle when you move. The soft fabric was snug, yet breathable, which altered my mindset on the itchy sweater stereotype. Though the colors aren’t the classic red and green to represent Christmas, the green of the elf’s costume and the navy blue still manage to bring out the Christmas spirit. This sweater is perfect for wearing to an ugly Christmas sweater party, or even casually around the house!
