Hannah Keaton

Hannah Keaton has committed to UC Santa Barbara to major in pre-biology. Keaton wants to pursue a career as a marine biologist and help fight the effects of global warming.

Keaton has done Irish dance for the past six years, competing as both a solo and a team dancer. Since starting at the age of 11, she is very passionate about her Irish dance career, which has brought her many opportunities, such as competing and placing with her team at the world competition in Ireland, Keaton’s favorite memory.

Keaton is also an active member in some of the school’s clubs and electives. Keaton is a member of the Interact club and the club’s treasurer.

Keaton is also a passionate member of the United Anglers. She has been a part of the United Anglers community for two years and is very passionate about the work they do to involve the community and help conserve the local fish species. Keaton is also concurrently enrolled at Petaluma High School to take their marine science class. As Keaton is interested in the effects of global warming on the ocean, both Casa’s United Anglers and Petaluma’s marine science class help teach and inspire her to one day help fight the devastating problem of coral bleaching.
