The Golf team has been scoring win after win this past season.They had their match against Petaluma High School and left victorious with a score of 70 to 67. This came after they ended with a tie of 237 to 237, but after a low five of sixth player score they finished with their winning score. The team’s last game was against Vintage High school, and was a home game at Rooster Run Golf Course. It ended with another victory and a score of 281 For CGHS and 290 for VHS. The lead medalist is Cara Broadhead, a senior at Casa Grande who finished with a score of 45 on a nine-hole course.


The Football team here at Casa grande has had victories and losses this season; the most recent game was against Vintage High school, and the team sadly walked away with a loss, the score being…“Good game, Vintage held onto the ball with their run game,” said coach John Antonio. The game was held at Memorial Stadium in Napa, CA and the football team played keep away the entire game. Coach Antonio would like to highlight player Matt Reilly—a CGHS Junior—due to the 11 tackles he accrued during the game and an interception.


The last game the volleyball team played was on Sep. 27 in the gym. The team walked away with the first win of the season with a score of three to zero. The team played Napa High School and is prepared to play American Canyon High School on Sep. 29 which will be a home game as well.
