Nostalgia: Childhood TV Shows That would be Seniors Today

Most high school seniors were born between 2004 and 2005 so here are 7 Childhood television shows that premiered in 2004 & 2005 that would technically be seniors today… 

 

1. The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (2005)

The Suite life of Zack and Cody first aired in 2005 starring the Sprouse brothers as two mischievous brothers who live in a hotel with their single mother and create absolute chaos for concierge Mr. Moseby with their hotel mates Maddie and London. The show later gets a spinoff starring the cast at boarding school on a cruise called The Suite Life of Zack & Cody On Deck

2. Danny Phantom (2004)

Danny Phantom is a cartoon from Nickelodeon that first aired in 2004 starring Danny, the son of two ghost hunters after he accidentally gains ghostly powers through one of his parents’ inventions. Throughout the show, Danny and his two best friends Sam and Tucker, must stop ghosts from coming into the human world while having to hide his ghost life from his family. 

3. Ben 10 (2005)

Airing in 2005, Ben 10 is a cartoon about a 10-year-old boy that finds a watch with the ability to transform him into 10 different alien creatures each with different abilities. Ben, his cousin, and his grandfather must stop the villains together using teamwork and the watch while trying not to cause too much mischief. 

4. Drake & Josh (2004)

Drake & Josh first airing in 2004 are about polar opposite step-brothers who recently had to move in together, and navigate the struggles of high school while in two very different social groups. 

5. Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005)

First premiering in 2005, Avatar: The Last Airbender is based in a world where nations are divided by the powers of the 4 natural elements and the fire nation suddenly tries to take over the water tribe. Siblings Sokka and Katara discover the Avatar frozen in the ice, a boy thought to have mysteriously disappeared with the ability to harness all elemental powers, and must work with them to stop the war before it is too late. 

6. Zoey 101 (2005)

Premiering in 2005, Zoey 101 starred Brittney Spears’ younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears as Zoey, a young teenager going off to a boarding school in Malibu. 

7. Phil of The Future (2004)

Phil of the Future, premiering in 2004, stars Phil and his family in the year 2121 but after a freak accident on vacation with a time machine, they are all sent back to 2004. Now they must pretend to act like a normal suburban family: even his part-robot mom.
