Kayla is a senior and this is her second year in journalism. Outside of school, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors, in addition to writing poetry and prose independently. She joined journalism in hopes of improving her writing and leadership skills and sharing her knowledge with others. She would like to attend a UC school to major in English, and plans to continue writing for the newspaper of whatever school she goes to.
