Sbarro

Sbarro

Sbarro is a staple at malls nationwide, with an eclectic yet sensible menu; however, I shortly discovered that their food is definitely overpriced. The Italian-themed food court featured its unique American and European styled pizzas, but also offered a great variety of other Italian dishes. I ordered a slice of their lasagna and was shocked to find out that I had to pay $8.19 for food that should have been worth only $3.50 at most. Nevertheless, I was pleased with my four-layered meal. The presentation was nearly impeccable, with a drizzle of melted cheese coating the top layer and garnished with a sprig of basil. Forking into my aromatic, delectable collation, I was elated to taste a savory combination of sauce, cheese, chicken, and pasta, which filled my mouth with utter euphoria. The pasta sheets were smooth, balanced perfectly with the treacle-like consistency of cheese and the palatable chicken, which were engulfed by a pool of red, creamy sauce. Overall, the meal was deliciously sublime and did its job of satisfying my hunger. Although costly, Sbarro’s food was appetizing and is highly recommended if you’re looking for a quick meal at the food court.
