After rumors of a school shooting swept through the school on Wednesday, April 19, the police located and arrested the minor linked to the threat. The juvenile used social media to perpetuate the threat, prompting calls to the police station and causing some parents to keep their children home for the day.

The minor was arrested at his home at eight Thursday morning and no firearms were found in his possession. Principal Eric Backman issued a statement regarding the incident.
