The theater square is covered in fake snow, the air is full of laughter, and the cold breeze is brushing against you. The Petaluma community scattered all of the theater square, full of laughter, smiles beaming, and little children running all over the place.
On Friday, the 5th of December, a beautiful Christmas tree lighting took place in Theater Square in downtown Petaluma. Countless families filled the square, and it was incredible, showing just how much our community can get pulled together to be one! While admiring the scenery, a resident named Rosa said, “I love coming to the tree lighting events, and experiencing the atmosphere of the families, as well as the community.” Watching the tree light up the lights beaming and seeing everyone counting down together felt magical. Moments like that are rare, when seeing families and the community getting together felt so heartwarming.
Later in the evening after the tree was lit, Santa and Mrs Claus met with children and took photos, adding more joy to the night. A Christmas night like that felt like something the town of Petaluma needed. This event felt like an unforgettable night for many!
